Introduction
I need to be in perennial movement: from walking, to swimming, to the gym, to snowboarding and windsurfing (the latter two - badly)

Spot on and a couple of days later a restaurant owner told me someone had been swept miles down the coast who'd done likewise. I got lucky that the currents weren't too bad the day I swam but no thought had gone into it!

Yes the island of Thodorou has good memories for me. It also reminds me that sometimes I can make reckless decisions and so I should be more cautious but that's another story!! :-)
